The city of Leeuwarden, in the north of Holland, wants to keep expanding on the other side of an important canal. The project consist on building several hectares plot proposing a new kind of city. Urbanism living with water. We generate a diverse landscape made of regular islands with different sizes, creating in each island an artificial

landscape, so all of them has an special quality. We will have the garden island, public space island, desert island, urban island,… and like on the real water lilies fields, from time to time it grows a flower, we will have "flower buildings", like exceptions breaking down the lilies repetition. |
