Flat in Lima

Handcraft, Recycling & Functionality.

With this interior design proposal, OOIIO´s team combined a functional, contemporary and comfortable flat design with a vintage look, coming from old furniture recycling and the reinterpretation of Peruvian local objects.

“Cuzqueño´s mirrors” and the Peruvian jungle villages handcraft technique for building furniture with colored plastic wires is used on our design to create a  interesting and quite personal flat for our client.

To create a central meeting space we had to demolish several walls. This space now enjoys a lot of natural light and when you get into it you have the feeling that you are on larger flat, that it is on the reality. Everything was designed very carefully.

We look for the vintage furniture specially chosen for every flat corner and we even build 1/1 scale models for the house new objects.

Flat Lima is a small project, designed with a lot of care.
